ClientEarth appoints Adam Weiss as new Chief Programmes and Impact Officer

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Weiss as ClientEarth's new Chief Programmes and Impact Officer.  

Adam joined ClientEarth in 2020 as Head of Ocean, Plastics, and Chemicals before transitioning to his current role as European Director of Programmes. During his recent tenure as Acting Chief Programmes and Impact Officer, Adam showcased a deep commitment to our mission, innovative thinking, and adeptness in promoting ClientEarth initiatives externally. 

In his new capacity, Adam will focus on ensuring our projects align with our vision for impact and spearhead essential fundraising efforts to secure resources that match ClientEarth’s ambitions. 

Adam's extensive background includes managing legal practices at the European Roma Rights Centre and the AIRE Centre, where he defended victims of human rights violations throughout Europe, particularly migrants and ethnic minorities. 

Adam is also a member of the New York State Bar and serves on the boards of the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants (Belgium) and Focus on Labour Exploitation (UK).
