Unravelling the global climate litigation landscape

ClientEarth’s very own Elizabeth Wu, Lea Main-Klingst and Jonathan White will be at a masterclass as part of National Climate Governance Summit, organised by Climate Governance Malaysia in collaboration with the Malaysia Bar Council on 11 September 2024.

The seminar, titled “Unravelling the global climate litigation landscape”, will feature opening remarks by Tan Sri Tommy Thomas, former Attorney General, Malaysia and Mohamad Ezri Abdul Wahab, President of the Malaysia Bar Council.

With climate litigation gaining momentum globally, Elizabeth, Johnny and Lea will be joined by Kiu Jia Yaw, Chairman, Sustainable Development Lawyer Environment and Climate Change sub-committee of the Malaysia Bar Council, to discuss latest trends and the implications for Malaysia, and more broadly, Asia.

Janet Looi, Head of Corporate and Co-Head of ESG at Skrine will provide closing remarks.
